On 3 November 2016, NHRCB organized a press conference to share the report submitted by a high-level fact-finding committee created by honorable Chairman Kazi Reazul Hoque and led by NHRC member Enamul Haque Chowdhury on attacks on minorities at Nasirnagar, Brahmanbaria. Md. Nazrul Islam, Full-Time Member, NHRCB and the fact-finding team were present at the conference. The conference was held at the conference room of NHRCB.

The three-member team visited all the affected places on 02 November and spoke to over 100 people including priests, eye witnesses, victims, and officials of the local administration.

Kazi Reazul Hoque said, “The miscreants involved in the attacks were seemingly misguided youths. Another interesting similarity is that all the attacks took place at the same time in a similar pattern. So, it is a clear indication that there is someone behind this who gave them instructions, fixing the time and the pattern.” After briefing the report was provided to the journalists.
